Ollie Quilter’s Solo Atlantic ’26 Row
Ollie Quilter’s Solo Atlantic ’26 Row - Worlds Toughest!
Starts in La Gomera and ends Antigua - Atlantic 3000 miles
We are so excited to have been chosen by Ollie as one of his charities to support. He first came across The Goed Life while working on a Goedhuis’ family holiday to Cornwall.
In December 2026 he is taking part in Talisker Whisky Atlantic Rowing Race. Consisting of around 40 boats of various sizes.
He will be facing scorching temperatures, 20-foot waves, huge Atlantic storms, and the increasingly common threat of marlin attacks among several other challenges.
Here is an update from a recent training row - ‘mixed conditions with some fog, lots of wind, strong currents, some rain, and even a sunburn! I spent the week on the boat building some confidence in the river before I head out to sea for further training’
